Disciplinary
WAKO Pro GB will place any disciplinary matter in front of the executive board, who will also consider and support other Organisations in their disciplinary action should they see fit.
1. Lewis Patterson Cardiff Kickboxing Wales.
Withdrawing from a WAKO Pro title fight with insufficient notice. (16 hours).
Reason: not making weight.
Also to be considered, fighting within the contractual period in which combat is not allowed. (3 weeks prior and at the actual weight of the title fight he was overweight for?)
Event South Wales WAKO
6 month ban from all WAKO events. (Time served)
2. Lee Liversey or also under the name of Lee Threlfall Blackpool
Withdrawing from a WAKO Pro title fight with insufficient notice and not supplying medical evidence of injury when it was requested.
Reason: Injured Knee.
Event Sheffield Octagon 9th November 2008.
This same person has a record of "No Show " with WAKO already.
6 month Ban from the date 9th November.
3. on the 18th January 2009 Lee Liversey or also under the name of Lee Threllfall Blackpool acted in a grossly unprofessional manner. After not turning up for the fight above in paragraph 2 above, he then agreed to fight on a pro' bout on the evening of 18th January 2009. WAKO had lifted the ban he was under as a sign of good will. Threlfall did not show and sent a text 1 hour before the fight stating he could not make it. This action along with the other comments contained within the text give WAKO Pro GB no option other than to ban this person from any competition for an indefinite period.
On more than one occassion now this person has brought WAKO Pro GB fight nights into disrepute and it cannot and will not continue. It causes distress to promoters and is not good for the sport in general regardless of Organisation.
